JUST A REMINDER

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 17TH

Please dress up for critique. 

Those doing the YA book must meet in class at TWO o'clock ready for critique. You can come in before two to get ready if you so choose. Chris has class at one so be there at two. Your book cover will be present in wrapped around a fake book and not under glass. Your website will be installed in the big screen behind. The website FOR YOUR BOOK / home page will have four tabs. You will be required to make a home page and one of these pages. Two pages total will be shown but please have a template idea that would fit the other pages.

Those doing the Allegory book must meet in class at 3 pm ready for critique. Your book cover will be present wrapped around a fake book and not under glass. Your table of contents and your title cover will be on screen (and not under glass).

1. Thumbnails / numbered and labeled (ThumbnailsLocation_Pg1) / If you do these else where like sketchbooks / etc. please scan them in and place print out in folder.

2. Rough Set 01 / numbered and labeled (RoughSet01)

4. Final Book Cover (folded and placed on top)

5. Final Website Pages

LEFT SIDE (starting with bottom and going up / one being the item on the bottom)

1. Research / must be minimum of 5 pages beyond the brief THIS CAN BE ITEMS THAT SUPPORT YOUR MATERIAL (aka don't know what a french horn looks like look it up / need vocal help for the allegory brief - look it up / Brief must be included in this labeling (ResearchBookName_pg1)

2. Visual Brief (VisualBrief_pg01)

3. Design Summary (please follow the format - gill sans! / no I's where problems with the last set of summaries)

Author Bio and Picture (Please pull from English Website for Chris Bailey's photo. Jason Crawford's photo and bio come from the English site as well. 

Title of Book - FRONT COVER

Author Name - FRONT COVER

Spine design - MUST HAVE AUTHOR NAME / TITLE

Must engage back cover without accolades

SOME OF YOU DID NOT HAVE YOUR ROUGHS IN AT NOON TODAY! YOU WILL BE DOCKED FIVE POINTS OFF YOUR FINAL GRADE FOR NOT MEETING THIS GATE. IF YOU WANT TO STILL SEND WORK PAST THIS TIME frame I will respond as soon as possible. Good luck tomorrow!!
